Frequently Asked Questions on HAARP

There are many questions asked about HAARP but does the government give the correct answers.  Why are no visitors allowed to this research facility? Should people in Alaska be warned about when transmitting frequencies are being sent?  Maybe the research facility is lying to the public or not releasing enough information.

Angels Don't Play This HAARP

Short Summary from the book "Angels Don't Play This HAARP" by Nick Begich

"HAARP will zap the upper atmosphere with a focused and steerable electromagnetic beam. It is an advanced model of an "ionospheric heater." (The ionosphere is the electrically-charged sphere surrounding Earth's upper atmosphere. It ranges between 40 to 60 miles above the surface of the Earth...A founder of the NO HAARP movement, Clare Zickuhr, says "The military is going to give the ionosphere a big kick and see what happens." The effects of HAARP are completely unpredictable and can create devastating consequences.  Has this machine been used against the American people or other countries around the world?

I chose government sponsored technologies for weather modification also known as HAARP for my blog project.  High Frequency Active Aural Research Program is a research program funded by US Air Force, US Navy and University of Alaska that has been conducting research on modifying weather events that can trigger floods, earthquakes and hurricanes around the world.  This use of technology is controversial because it can be used as a weapon of mass destruction.
